Cooking & Nutrition

Direct offers hands-on Cooking & Nutrition education. Training focuses on meal planning, shopping on a budget, cooking, and eating healthier. Sessions may include:

  • Traffic Light Eating (a science-based nutrition approach that focuses on informed food choices)

  • Fundamental skills such as proper techniques, reading labels, and kitchen safety

  • Meal planning (menu, budgeting, shopping)

  • Meal preparation (breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks
